Not everyone has the time, or patience, to play 100-plus hours of RPGS or never-ending open-world games. So if you’re like me, an individual who has a short attention span, here are 3 games you can finish in under 10 hours over the weekend.
Firewatch (Approx. 4-6 Hours)
PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo
From Steam Official Website
Now, if you’re into first-person narratives, then this one's for you. Set in 1989 in the Wyoming wilderness, Firewatch is a gripping adventure that tells the tragic story of Henry, a fire lookout whose only hope of survival is the girl on the other side of his handheld radio. It gives you the creeps, doesn’t it?
Creeps? Well, yes, with its twists and turns, you’d end up questioning everything in a heartbeat, and I guess to some, I mean me, the thrill and excitement make the game.
So, if you’re tired of endless gameplay and generic storylines, Firewatch is the game to play.
Katana ZERO (Approx. 5-6 Hours)
PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo
From Steam Official Website
If you’re not into slow-paced mystery thrillers and want a fast-paced action game with intense combat, but still want that mind-bending storyline? Then, check out Katana ZERO.
In this game, you play as a samurai assassin with the ability to manipulate time, and if that’s not interesting enough, you’ll be surprised by its punk, neo-noir aesthetic and dystopian setting.
This action-packed game is perfect for those looking to blow off steam without getting bored by mundane storylines.
Inside (Approx. 4 Hours)
PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo
The last on our list is Inside. If you’re a fan of Limbo or Little Nightmares, this is a great alternative to both.
Set in a dark place, you control a nameless boy trying to escape the darkness, only to be hunted as you run. The game's puzzles and haunting storyline keep you engaged from start to finish, and if you ask me? This is the perfect game to play after work.
So, if you’re on the hunt for something short but want that adrenaline boost, check out Inside.
These three games prove that great games don’t need to be long-winded epics. So if you want to squeeze in some gameplay before work, or are looking to just relax after a stressful day, then these three titles provide a fantastic time, all under 10 hours. Speaking of time, if you are always worried about it, it may be TIME—heh—to get a smartwatch that can handle it and then more! Introducing the Apple smartwatch! Capable of handling messaging, workouts, and your regular time telling, this smartwatch is a great addition to your day-to-day.
