#SoITriedIt: My Experience with the mWell Power Watch
May 15, 2025 / by Marhiel Garrote / 4 mins read

I’ve been eyeing the mWell Power Watch for a long time, and finally, I got it last December! I really wanted to buy a smartwatch to kickstart my fitness journey. Let’s be honest: it's tough to start to get fit, especially when you have Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), which I have. The hormonal imbalance that comes with weight gain, which I’m experiencing. It also causes mood swings and anxieties, so I thought this smartwatch might help motivate me to move since it has a step counter.
When I finally got it, I was so happy because I felt like I had a fitness companion. I’ve been tempted to buy it for so long because I always see it at the Next Upgrade Shop and often feature it in my articles. So, I finally gave in and bought it!
Since I already know some of its specs and design, checking out the mWell Power Watch was a breeze. I chose this wearable from mWell because I simply loved its design–perfect for everyday wear–and its great features. Also, I waited over a month before I wrote a review about it so I could really test it myself.

I’ve listed some of the features that I love about this smartwatch, and they are as follows:

My Experience
My goal is to reach 10,000 steps a day, and this device has been beneficial for that. Based on my experience:
- Battery life - the advertised 7-day battery life is real; I don’t have to charge it all frequently.
- Display - I love the display; it is clear, and it has various cute themes to choose from.
- Ease of use - It's easy to connect with the mWell app, making it easier to track your fitness.
- Heart rate monitoring - one of the fun features I encountered is when I watched a K-drama, and I’m feeling ‘kilig,’ it suddenly vibrates and turned on the screen, showing my heart rate is spiking, which I found so funny!
- Blood oxygen and blood pressure monitoring - these features all work and have been very helpful to me.
- Stopwatch, timer, and alarm - these features are also great about this smartwatch. I’ve been using it for my activities, even when I'm cooking, and I just need a timer. The alarm is also invaluable and very working because it vibrates, and it really wakes me up when I’m having an afternoon nap.

Features I haven’t tried yet
There are a few features I haven’t fully explored yet, such as music controls and sleep monitoring. They might need an update, or I just need to do further research on activating them. Secondly, I didn’t use the free blue strap that comes with it when I bought it here at the Next Upgrade Shop.
For calls, it works fine, and the speaker is good, but I haven’t figured out how to sync contacts yet, so it's not a big issue for me. Don’t get me wrong, but I have the time to check its different features because I’m so busy.
Is the mWell Power Watch worth it?
After a month of use, the mWell Power Watch is a great buy! It’s worth the price and functionality. It’s great for those serious about their fitness goals and for people like me who just need to monitor their steps, heart rate, and blood pressure. Sorry, I forgot to mention that it can also track the calories you lose.
And the best part? It’s available at the Next Upgrade Shop at the best guaranteed price. So, if you are looking for an affordable yet feature-packed smartwatch, this might be perfect for you, just as it is perfect for me.
