Digital Feng Shui: Tips in Rearranging Your Workspace For Good Energy for 2026

Why not follow these simple Digital Feng Shui principles for a more productive and stress-free workspace?

January 19, 2026 / by Marhiel Garrote / 3 mins read

In 2026, most of us start our new year with new goals, and I believe one of them is to declutter and organize our houses. But why not try to focus on organizing and rearranging our workspace with the guidance of Feng Shui?

Inspired by traditional Feng Shui principles–balance, flow, and intention–but apply it in a modern and tech-savvy workspace. It's not all about luck, but rather about focus, productivity, and mental well-being while working. After all, we don’t want a cluttered workspace.

Here are some practical and easy-to-follow tips to rearrange your workspace in 2026, along with additional smart product options available at the Next Upgrade Shop.

1. Clear any visual and digital clutter

This is one of the basic rules in Digital Feng Shui: if you see clutter, you can easily feel tired and be out of focus; that’s why it’s better to declutter in the first weeks of the year, physically and digitally.

Remove all unnecessary items from your workspace, such as old cables, extra gadgets, broken chargers, and irrelevant papers. On the digital side, delete unnecessary applications, pictures, videos, files, and any other content you no longer need.

2. Use smart lighting to set a good ambiance

In feng shui, light symbolizes clarity and awareness. In a modern workspace, it is also a key to eye comfort and productivity, especially if you spend a lot of time on the screen while working.

The workspace should receive natural sunlight to help create a brighter, more focused atmosphere. However, if this is not possible, you can use smart lights to make your space brighter. A good smart light has the ability to change its settings, brightness, and tone from cool to white to light.

Check out the Nordlux Smart Bulb, which comes in a compact size, features adjustable color temperature, and is controllable via smartphone.

3. Improve the airflow of energy and circulation

One of the most important things in feng shui is the chi or life energy, and air usually represents that. When your workspace feels heavy, it may indicate a lack of airflow in your space. Try to open the windows in your workspace to ensure good airflow.

You can also use the Tuya Smart Environment Sensor, which helps you check and monitor the temperature and humidity inside your workspace.

4. Create intentional desk zones

This year, it's important to put boundaries, especially if you are working from home. You can divide your desk or workstation to make it more organized. Have a work zone, where your anything-related things are located. Create your calm zone, where you can relax for a bit during your work breaks, and then your digital zone, where you can use your other gadgets that are not related to your work.

Remember!

The Digital Feng Shui this 2026 is not about a perfect setup, but it's about being intentional with your boundaries and creating a peaceful workplace; after all, we don’t want stress to take over our lives. Believe it or not, but a clean space is a place where you can really have productivity.
