5 Recent Horror Titles to Stream on Your Next Horror Marathon

Scaring yourself silly is super easy thanks to streaming and your smart TV!

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not a huge fan of horror. Especially the gory kind. But if you're like me and have a partner who binges horror titles like potato chips, you get exposed to it more often than you'd like. Thankfully, she’s shown me some great horror titles that offer a little more than just shock and screams.

If you’re setting up a late-night horror marathon, here are some personal picks that might just convert you into a cautious horror fan like me. And if none of these hit quite right, you can always ask your own AI movie buff for fresh suggestions on the LG 65" UHD SMART 65UA7350PSB from Next Upgrade Shop—and watch them right from the comfort of your smart home.

Sinners (2025)

Available on HBO Max

This one caught me completely off guard. One, I didn't even expect it to be a horror movie based on how it started. Two, aside from it being stylish, tense, and beautifully acted— it's a musical too (sorta). The movie is packed with great music, and there’s this cover of “Go Lassie Go” that plays at just the right moment, that I actually found myself listening to it ‘on repeat’ after. If you've heard about Sinners before and still haven't tried out, I really can't recommend it enough.

Totally Killer (2023)

I didn’t expect to like this one as much as I did, but Totally Killer just works. It’s got time travel (which I'm a huge fan of), ‘80s fashion, and plenty of self-aware humor—all while still giving you the occasional jump scare. It’s the kind of horror movie that doesn’t take itself too seriously, which I appreciate. For someone like me who prefers a clever twist over buckets of blood, this was an easy favorite.

Until Dawn (2025)

Available on Netflix

This one was an easy sell for me since I’d already played and enjoyed the original Until Dawn game. The story here is pretty different from the game though, which I’m actually thankful for—it made the experience feel fresh instead of predictable. That said, I’ll admit I still prefer the game’s story overall; it just hit harder for me than this live action iteration. Still, Until Dawn (2025) makes for a fun and spooky night on the couch.

Black Mirror: Season 7 (2025)

Available on Netflix

If you’ve ever wanted to question your life choices after watching an episode of TV, Black Mirror is your show—and Season 7 is peak form. My favorite episode by far is Plaything, partly because I’m a gamer and partly because Peter Capaldi absolutely steals the screen. It’s creepy, clever, and strangely emotional in the way Black Mirror does best. I walked away both impressed and mildly unsettled… which is exactly how this show has always made me feel.

Goosebumps: Season 2 (2025)

Available on Disney+

This one’s a lighter pick, but don’t underestimate it. Goosebumps Season 2 leans more into the mystery and supernatural side of things, and it’s surprisingly fun to watch even as an adult. The stories are creative, the tone hits that perfect balance of spooky and nostalgic, and it never feels too heavy. It’s my go-to recommendation for anyone who wants a horror fix that won’t keep them up all night.
