Chicken Adobo with Cream
Level: Beginner
Prep Time: 10 mins cook
Cook Time: 20 mins
Ingredients:
- 1kg of chicken, chopped into pieces
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 cloves of garlic, chopped
- ½ of vinegar
- ½ of soy sauce
- 1 cup of all-purpose cream
- 2 tbsp of pepper
- 3 tbsp of sugar (optional)
- 1 tbsp of chili flakes (optional)
How to cook?
- Use the Sauté function of the Hyundai Pressure Cooker for the garlic and onion.
- Add the chicken, soy sauce, vinegar, pepper, sugar, and chili flakes, and mix well.
- Close the lid and set it for Chicken preset (or pressure cook for 15 mins).
- After the pressure release, open the lid and add the all-purpose cream. Simmer for 5 minutes in sauté mode.
- Serve it with steamed rice or garlic rice.
2. Beef Mechado in 30 Minutes
Level: Intermediate
Prep Time: 15 mins
Cook Time: 30 mins
Ingredients:
- 1kg of beef chopped into cubes
- 1 cup of tomato sauce
- 1 potato, cubed
- 1 carrot, sliced
- 1 bell pepper strips
- 2 tbsp of soy sauce
- 1 tsp of calamansi juice
- 1 tbsp of cooking oil
- 4 cloves of garlic minced
- 1 medium-sized onion, minced
- Oyster sauce (optional)
- 3 tbsp of sugar (optional)
How to cook?
- Use the Sauté mode to sauté the garlic and onions, then the beef until it's brown.
- Add the tomato sauce, soy sauce, calamansi, carrots, and potatoes.
- Set it for the Beef preset (or pressure cook it for 25-30 minutes)
- After cooking, add the bell pepper and simmer for 3 minutes.
- Serve it with rice!
3. Tinapa Garlic Fried Rice
Level: Beginner
Prep Time: 10 mins
Cook Time: 20 mins
Ingredients:
- 3 cups of leftover rice
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced.
- 2 tbsp of cooking oil
- 2-3 pieces of tinapa, deboned and shredded into pieces
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped spring onions or salted egg for garnish (optional)
How to cook?
- Use the Hyundai Pressure Cooker’s Sauté mode.
- Heat oil, then sauté the garlic until it's golden brown.
- Add the chopped tinapa. Sauté it for 1-2 minutes until the aroma comes out.
- Then, add the rice and mix well until evenly cooked.
- Season it with a little pepper and salt, depending on your taste.
- Add the chopped spring onions on top or serve them with salted eggs on the side.
