Sometimes, our phone’s juice isn’t enough, and as someone who is always on the go, finding a reliable and efficient power bank is crucial. A year ago, I decided to try out the CrabTek Wireless Power Bank, and it has been my trusty companion ever since. In this mini-review, I’ll share my experiences and thoughts on this sleek, powerful device.

The CrabTek Wireless Power Bank is a minimalistic and aesthetically pleasing device, which I bought in Black. It features a slim and sleek design with a rubberized texture, making it stylish and easy to grip. The power bank is compact and travel-sized, fitting comfortably in my bag or even my pocket. I’m an avid cyclist and prefer not to carry a bag while biking, so this compact build is perfect for me.
Features and performance
This power bank is compatible with Apple’s latest MagSafe technology, which means it attaches magnetically to my iPhone 13 Pro. It is also compatible with iPhone 12 and above, and it ensures a secure attachment even with some phone cases that are not MagSafe-ready.
With a 10,000mAh battery capacity, it can fully charge my phone twice. The power bank offers high-speed charging of up to 15W wirelessly and 20W when plugged in. While I typically use it wirelessly for convenience, I switch to using a charging cable when I need a quicker charge.
Using the CrabTek Wireless Power Bank has been a smooth experience. The LED battery indicator is accurate, letting me know exactly how much power is left. However, I noticed that wireless power banks tend to overheat quickly, especially when used while playing on the phone. This heating is a normal part of inductive wireless charging, as energy loss during transmission generates heat. To avoid overheating, I recommend not using the phone while it’s charging and paying attention to heat dissipation.
Pros and cons

After using the CrabTek Wireless Power Bank for a year, I can say it’s a reliable and efficient charging solution for anyone on the go. Its sleek design, strong magnetic attachment, and high-speed charging capabilities make it a standout choice. While it does tend to overheat, it’s manageable.
If you’re in the market for a new power bank, the CrabTek Wireless Power Bank is definitely worth considering. I’ve been using mine for a year, and it still performs exceptionally well.
